Digital News Publishing Agreement (DNPA)
1. Introduction:
This Digital News Publishing Agreement (“DNPA”) is entered into by and between [Publisher Name] (“Publisher”), operating under the domain name BarmerPress.com, and any contributor (“Contributor”) who wishes to publish content on BarmerPress.com. This agreement outlines the terms and conditions under which the Contributor agrees to provide content to the Publisher for publication on BarmerPress.com.
2. Content Submission:
2.1 The Contributor agrees to submit original content, including but not limited to articles, blog posts, images, videos, and any other media, to the Publisher for consideration for publication on BarmerPress.com.
2.2 All submitted content must be original and not published elsewhere. The Contributor warrants that they have full rights to the content submitted and that it does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party.
3. Content Ownership:
3.1 The Contributor retains the copyright to their content. However, by submitting content to BarmerPress.com, the Contributor grants the Publisher a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish, distribute, and display the content on BarmerPress.com and any affiliated platforms.
3.2 The Publisher may edit or modify the content for clarity, grammar, formatting, or other editorial purposes, but will not make substantial changes that alter the original meaning or intent of the content without the Contributor’s consent.
4. Compensation:
4.1 The Publisher agrees to provide appropriate credit to the Contributor for their content, including bylines, author bios, and links to the Contributor’s personal or professional websites or social media profiles.
4.2 Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, the Publisher does not provide monetary compensation for contributed content. Contributors may benefit from exposure, increased visibility, and the opportunity to showcase their expertise to BarmerPress.com’s audience.
5. Rights and Permissions:
5.1 The Contributor represents and warrants that they have obtained all necessary permissions, licenses, or releases for any third-party content, including but not limited to images, videos, and quotes, included in their submissions.
5.2 The Contributor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Publisher from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of the Contributor’s breach of any representations or warranties in this agreement.
6. Content Standards:
6.1 The Publisher reserves the right to reject or remove any content that it deems inappropriate, offensive, misleading, or otherwise unsuitable for publication on BarmerPress.com.
6.2 The Contributor agrees to adhere to the Publisher’s content guidelines, including but not limited to standards of accuracy, fairness, and journalistic integrity.
7. Term and Termination:
7.1 This agreement shall commence upon acceptance of the Contributor’s first submission and shall remain in effect until terminated by either party upon written notice.
7.2 Upon termination, the Publisher shall remove the Contributor’s content from BarmerPress.com within a reasonable time frame.
8. Governing Law:
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction]. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Insert Jurisdiction].
9. Entire Agreement:
